We run containers for GCs, framers, remodelers, custom builders and demo crews from Golden and Morrison through Lakewood and Wheat Ridge into west Denver, and south toward Ken Caryl and Littleton. Additions, whole-house remodels, pop-tops, ADUs, basement finishes, commercial build-outs and full tear-downs. Sizes from 10 to 40, so we can put a small heavy box on a concrete phase and a 40 on the framing phase of the same job.
Pricing is flat rate with the tonnage stated up front. You know what a swap costs before you order it, which is the only way to bid a job honestly. Phases We Stage Containers Around
Interior Tear-Out
Drywall, plaster, lath, cabinetry, flooring and framing removed before the rebuild. Plaster and lath from pre-war stock weighs roughly double what crews estimate.
Framing & Sheathing Scrap
Cut-offs, banding, sheathing waste, engineered lumber ends and packaging. High volume, low weight — this is the phase that justifies a 40 yard.
Drywall & Finish Debris
Board scrap, mud buckets that must be dry, corner bead and trim waste. Steady daily volume that fills a container faster than the framing stage did.
Basement Finishes
The most common Lakewood construction job there is. Existing paneling and slab prep out, then framing, board and finish waste over several weeks.
Additions & Pop-Tops
Roof section removal, wall openings, old siding and structural demo alongside new-build scrap. Usually two containers staged rather than one held long.
Full Demolition

Matching Container Size to Trade Phase
Do not order one container for the whole job. Weight and volume behave completely differently by phase. Concrete, brick, tile, dirt and plaster want a 10 or 20 yard on a dedicated load — you will hit the weight limit at half height and a big box just tempts an overload the driver cannot legally haul. Framing scrap, insulation, siding, cabinetry and mixed C&D want a 30 or 40 yard, where the win is fewer swaps and fewer interruptions. A typical Lakewood whole-house remodel runs a 20 through demo, then 30s or 40s from framing to punch. We will map it with you before the first drop.

Two things stall Front Range jobs more than anything else. First, asbestos: CDPHE Regulation No. 8 requires inspection by a Colorado-certified inspector before renovation or demolition disturbing more than trigger amounts, and most metro building departments will not release a demo permit without the report in hand. Popcorn texture, 9x9 tile and mastic in pre-1980 stock test positive routinely. We cannot accept asbestos in any container. Second, placement: street or right-of-way staging needs a permit, and Lakewood, Jeffco, Golden and Denver each run their own process. Get both started at bid time. On site we need sixty feet of approach, overhead clearance, and a spot the swap truck can reach without a crane move.

How fast can you swap a full container?
Next day is standard, and we hit it. If you call before our morning dispatch we can often get the swap out same day depending on truck load and where the site sits in the route. During peak hail season, when the entire metro is calling at once, next day is the honest promise and we would rather commit to it and beat it than miss it. Standing schedules on long jobs get priority.
What happens if we overload the container?
We cannot haul it. There is a legal axle weight limit and a fill line on the container for a reason — material above the rails is a road hazard and the landfill will turn a hot load away. If the driver arrives to an overloaded box, we will ask your crew to pull material off, which costs everyone a morning. Better to call for an earlier swap or size correctly at the start.
Can we mix concrete with the rest of the demo debris?
Not if you want it priced sensibly. Concrete, masonry, tile, dirt and rock are heavy debris and go on a dedicated load in a small container, where the disposal path and the weight math are different. Mixing a few chunks into a mixed load is manageable; loading a slab into a 30 yard of framing scrap creates a container nobody can legally lift. Order a separate box — see heavy debris.
Do you handle multi-container jobs on one site?
Yes, and phased staging is the normal way we run larger remodels and commercial build-outs. Separate containers for heavy debris, clean wood and mixed C&D on the same lot, rotated on a schedule that follows your trades. It also helps on Denver-side work where diversion requirements under Waste No More make material separation part of the closeout paperwork.
Who is responsible for the street permit?
Whoever pulls it, but we will tell you what you need and when to start. If the container goes on private property — driveway, parking lot, job site — no permit is required. Street or public right-of-way placement requires one, and processing time varies by jurisdiction across the metro. Start it at least a week out. Our permit rundown covers the local specifics.
